Supporting the Anson Integrated Door Control System
Anson Integrated Control systems are commonly installed in Canada and are a cost effective solution for building access. Anson has fully pulled out of North America and so there is little commercial support available. HELIA does support Anson building access system and resolves door access issues and configuration and programming issues. We also replace defective Anson components.
If you're looking to manage the Anson Access Control System remotely, we can help. Even through there is no readily available web access, we've setup secure VPN connections and secure cloud hosting to allow the Anson software to be securely managed remotely so adding cards and checking audit logs can be easily done without visiting the building site.
Anson Credential Readers
The Anson controllers and credential readers are Wiegard 26bit standard. This is a very common industry standard and we have tested their interoperability with other brand controller to be used both as replacement for defective credential readers and controllers. The most common credential reader we have seen in Canada is the ASR-2660W reader. This is an older model from Anson but works well and delivers as expected. The credential reader is placed at a door or entrance way and reads the issued credentials whether they be FOBs, cards or other to determine if access is to be granted.
Integration with the Door Guard Intercom System
The Door Guard Intercom System is a common main door intercom system for multi-family residential buildings. The DoorGuard system will integrate with the Anson system and allows the guest of a resident to look-up a resident and intercom resident to their cell phone and have the resident grant access and release the door. The Door Guard system can be integrated with the Anson Access Control System.

Anson Two and Four Door Controllers
The Anson ASC-DL24 is a very common controller in Canada. It provides 4 door access control which is much better than usual compared to other competitive products available in Canada. Most other access controllers are single or dual doors only and require additional controller units to be added in order for the system to control additional doors. The controller is well built and the quality is adequate. There has been a support issue for the Anson product as they don't have North American support or distribution and their direct-to-China email support usually takes 48 hours or more to receive a response. To that end, many user tend to replace the controller with units with North American support resources. The Anson credential reader, door latches and cabling are all industry standard and if the choice is made to replace the access controllers, it can be done with minimal impact. HELIA does provide replacement and training for alternative access controller systems.
Anson Controller Software
A key component of the Anson Access controller is the Windows based software. The software must be installed in order to register the credials for individual users, configure the doors and access and view the logs. There is no web interface available for Anson and so the software and Windows computer is required.
